Safrochain Testnet Feedback: A Promising Africa-First Blockchain with Mobile-First Potential (And Key UX Fixes Needed)”

In a generation where mobile phones have bypassed traditional banking infrastructure, a new blockchain is emerging to turn that connectivity into real economic power. Safrochain is an Africa-first Layer-1 blockchain built on the Cosmos SDK.

What is its main goal?
To make blockchain simple and useful for everyday people using smartphones. It supports micro-transactions, community savings , remittances, and real-world dApps that solve actual local problems.

In summary:
@safrochain makes blockchain practical and accessible for local needs, while giving builders and users a direct on-ramp to the global on-chain world.
Fast, affordable, mobile-first, and truly community-driven. Built for the next billion users.

However, while engaging with the app and performing tasks (especially around bridging, swapping, and liquidity provision), I encountered a few consistent issues that impacted the overall experience:
Issues Encountered:
• Login Glitches: There were intermittent problems when trying to log in. Sessions would sometimes fail to authenticate properly, requiring multiple attempts or restarts. This made it frustrating to stay consistently engaged.

Up till now, I am unable to perform any telegram task because it always fail to connect to my telegram account.
• Failed Bridging and Swapping Interactions: I experienced frequent transaction failures during bridging and swapping activities. Transactions would hang, fail silently, or require repeated retries, which consumed time and testnet tokens unnecessarily.
• No Osmosis Faucet Provision: When attempting to add liquidity as part of the tasks/quests, there was no straightforward way to request Osmosis assets via a faucet. This created a blocker since Osmosis tokens were needed for certain liquidity operations within the interchain activities.
These challenges made some of the hands-on tasks more difficult than expected, especially for users who are new to Cosmos-based chains or testing under limited conditions.

I’m sharing this feedback constructively because I believe in the project’s potential. The team has built something with real purpose, and ironing out these UX and testnet hurdles will make the experience much more welcoming — especially ahead of mainnet.
I’ll continue participating and testing as things improve. Looking forward to seeing the mobile wallet, better integrations, and mainnet launch.
