First On-Chain Governance Proposal
Safrochain has introduced its first on-chain governance proposal on Mainnet, marking an important milestone for network governance.
Proposal #1 – Enable x/feeshare for CosmWasm contract developers proposes enabling FeeShare so registered contract developers can receive 25% of MsgExecuteContract gas fees generated by their contracts.
At the time of this recap, 48 validators have voted, representing 372.31M SAF in voting weight. The proposal currently has 100% YES, with 0% No, No with Veto, and Abstain. Quorum has reached 82.6%, well above the required 33%, while the proposal remains in the voting period.
Follow the voting activity and status of Proposal #1 through the Safrochain Explorer: https://explorer.safrochain.com/gov/proposal/1
This first proposal introduces an important governance mechanism while also creating an incentive for developers building and maintaining applications on Safrochain.
Network and IBC Updates
Safrochain Mainnet continues to operate steadily, with safrochain-1 live and in sync as validators continue securing the network.
On Testnet, IBC transfers are back online, restoring cross-chain transfers between Safrochain and Osmosis, as well as Safrochain and Noble.
Developers and users can continue building and testing cross-chain interactions through the Safrochain Bridge: https://hub.safrochain.com/trade/bridge
The restored connections provide an environment for continued interoperability testing as Safrochain strengthens its connection to the broader interchain ecosystem.
Safrochain dApps and Mainnet Applications
The Safrochain application ecosystem continues to expand as more products move to Mainnet, mobile access improves, and new use cases become available to users.
The Safrochain Hub dApps experience has also been refreshed, making it easier to discover applications across the ecosystem: https://hub.safrochain.com/dapps
Builders developing on Safrochain can also submit their applications through SafroDappList, helping new projects become more visible across the ecosystem.
1. Safrochain Hub Expands to Android
Safrochain Hub is now available on Android, extending access to the Safrochain ecosystem beyond the web and bringing the Hub experience directly to mobile users.
The Android application has been approved and released in alpha, allowing users to test the mobile experience and provide feedback as development continues.
• Safrochain Hub Mobile: https://mobilehub.safrochain.com/
An iOS version is also coming soon, further expanding mobile access to the Safrochain ecosystem.
2. EightSaf Wallet on Mainnet
EightSaf Wallet now supports Safrochain Mainnet and can connect directly to Safrochain Hub.
This gives users a dedicated wallet option for interacting with Safrochain Mainnet and accessing ecosystem applications and services.

3. Safrimba Goes Live on Mainnet
Safrimba is officially live on Safrochain Mainnet, bringing community savings circles fully on-chain.
Inspired by traditional savings models such as tontines, ajo, and osusu, Safrimba enables communities to create and participate in blockchain-powered savings circles.
At the time of this recap, Safrimba (https://safrimba.safrochain.com/discover) has already recorded 6 savings circles, 15 members, 3 active circles, and 10.4K SAF pooled, with 2 circles already running. These early numbers provide a first snapshot of real Mainnet activity as communities begin using Safrimba for decentralized savings.
Users can explore the available circles directly on the platform, join an existing circle, or create their own and invite others to participate.
4. Ekival Joins Safrochain Mainnet
Ekival has joined the Safrochain Mainnet ecosystem, bringing a peer-to-peer marketplace designed to facilitate exchanges between crypto, cash, and mobile money, particularly for African markets.
Ekival helps connect users who want to buy or sell crypto using locally accessible payment methods, bridging digital assets with payment options people already use in their daily lives.
Users can access the Safrochain version of Ekival directly at: https://ekival.com/safro/
Ecosystem Expansion and Partnerships
Safrochain and Nairobi Blockchain Center
Safrochain and the Nairobi Blockchain Center are advancing a partnership focused on strengthening builder education, community programs, and Web3 adoption across the region.
The collaboration represents another step toward expanding Safrochain’s builder and community presence in Africa, with further details expected as the partnership develops.
